When our clients came to us for the Sassafras Project, their request was clear: they wanted a space that felt brighter, more current, and more reflective of their style. Their home had good bones but felt dated and lacked the warmth and personality they craved.
Our approach centered around creating a clean, airy palette as the foundation soft whites, muted neutrals, and layered textures to bring the light in and let it linger. We carefully selected updated finishes, modern lighting, and refined details that aligned with their aesthetic: approachable, tailored, and effortlessly fresh.
Each room was reimagined with intention. We introduced subtle contrast and natural elements to add dimension, while thoughtfully updating the layout to improve flow and function. Whether it was replacing heavy window treatments, swapping dated hardware, or incorporating a more cohesive material palette, every design decision was made to help the space feel like them.
The end result? A home that feels elevated yet livable, where natural light, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the clients’ personalities shine through in every detail.
